FDSD was delighted to host a workshop at the University of Westminster to develop the campaign for the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act being led by Lord Bird. The event attracted representatives from around 30 organisations, including UK Student Climate Network, WWF-UK, Carnegie Trust UK, IPPR, Intergenerational Foundation.
The workshop, facilitated by FDSD’s chair Graham Smith, was an opportunity to scrutinise the current draft of the Bill and to consider how aspects of the campaign TodayforTomorrow can be moved forward.
Commenting on the energy of the workshop, Lord Bird said, “A fantastic day spent shaping the campaign for a UK Future Generations Act! Thank you to everyone who shared their time, ideas and expertise – onwards and upwards!”
